epocrates App Reviews

Being the new doc on the block is never easy imagine being the new doc in the block in the middle of the ocean. This app allowed me to broaden my differential, cover all the bases of management and add to the care of my patients while I was deployed. I highly recommend this app to new and more experienced doctors.

As a psychiatrist, Ive been using Epocrates for over six years, after one of my Residents introduced me to it. I began with the pharmacology app, but expanded to the full service several months ago. I have a patient with alcoholic neuropathy, which, while being a quite prevalent disorder, is very scantily represented on the internet, as it was on Epocrates, until just two weeks ago, when I revisited it and you had finally included it. It was very useful, and I found the discussion of parasthesias in general to be extremely comprehensive and extraordinary useful. I am an immense fan of Epocrates, especially as you constantly expand your topics to help me stay up to date.

Great resource. Accurate. Used it during nursing school and now quite frequently in the ICU.

Quick way to look up info you are unsure about. Together with Medscape it gives you most what you need to know. Great drug resource.

Works well. Ive wished for many years that they would include nursing info for drugs, procedure modules, etc.

I have been in Family Medicine 38 years. The number of drugs and "me too" drugs has grown exponentially since I started med school in 1971. E-Pocrates is an outstanding service and I cant practice medicine with out it! Thank You, Frank J Rubino M D

It would be amazing to NOT have to close the notifications screen each time I open the app. Please stop making it pop up first or at least include an option to disable them being in-your-face every single time.

Im a current in school for my NP. I got this app as a requirement of one of my classes. I always knew about this app I just never wanted to pay the money. Now that I have I love it. And I think its well worth it.

The combination of drug information and pill pictures is great. I would just like to see a little more consistency in the presence of how supplied.

My patients are starting to ask me about pricing of prescriptions. I have been noticing an ever-increasing absence of that important data in Epocrates. Seems like Epocrates is allowing Pharmx to keep us in the dark.

Use it all the time as an FNP

Very good up and updated frequently. I have been using it for more than 5 years now and it comes handy all the time. Side effect profiles can be little different thou if you compare with other sites/apps. Generally speaking, I can not live without it ! Thanks

Medscape+epocrates = everything youre going to need. Well, I guess DynaMed is also really nice to have. Oh and AnkiApp is pretty essential for studying effectively - there is nothing better. Oh heck, you need like 100 apps.

Have been using for several years. Always up to date, fast, and user friendly. I have been recommending this app to other pharmacists young and old. I would like to see a less expensive version geared to pharmacists.
