epocrates App Reviews

The app is great, but I dont like being forced to open ads and articles before deleting. I also dont like that the app opens to these articles. There is no way that I have found to change this. This is an expensive app and I dont appreciate this.

I only wish the full version wasnt so expensive.

Best drug info. I use it frequently at patient encounter.

Great app. Is very useful when seeing patients with long lists of medication taken. Not only to look up the drugs for twirl mechanism of action but the interactions with other meds. Only criticism is, I wish they included more info and interactions with Herbal supplements.

Good for basic stuff unless you want to update ($$). Useful for bedside ICU RNs. Get it.

I have been using this app for about 15 years and dont use much of anything else! It is my go to resource for drugs, interactions, diseases as well as looking up info on labs that are not used frequently! Well worth the cost!

Excellent app for me as an FNP student! Wish I would have known about it prior to Pharmacology class! Great tool to help with critical thinking and guidelines!

Very handy app for healthcare providers for both the free portion as well as the paid portion. I use it frequently to look up medications and I enjoy the challenge of the Case Studies!

The new look of Epocrates is so gentle in these old eyes. This new version is rife with all updated info on the latest meds. Who says that good things cannot be for free.

So glad my school offered me this resource! I use it all the time at clinical to look up meds, treatments, monitoring, and details of diseases. It has great pictures, drug interactions and information on what you need to consider for your patients.

I have used Epocrates for close to 20 years at least. I consult it on a daily basis. It has saved me so much time, and allows me to offer much better patient care and education than I ever could without it. I never want to do medicine without it.

The full and free version of this app are amazing. I used the free when I was a few graduate nurse, now as a FNP student this app is s life saver at clinical. It had the late guidelines, DDx, ICD 9 and 10, so now I dont have to carry 50 books with me!

Ive been using the Epocrates app since the first day it was available for use. It was free at the very beginning. I know I had it on my Palm Treo. Later I more than happily paid for it--I used it every day in my exam room and office. Now as a retired physician who does some volunteering, the free version is enough for me. Still offers lots of information.

...but ever since the update, it doesnt work at all. Keeps getting hung up on sync-ing, and no option to bypass that. F for failure.

This app is very practical , with quick search for dosing , side effects , pharmacokinetics and contraindications. It is indispensable at bedside . The calculator feature is amazing especially for a nephrologist . Highly recommended .
